When you are a Bear of Very Little Brain, and you Think of Things, you find sometimes that a Thing which seemed very Thingish inside you is quite different when it gets out into the open and has other people looking at it.
--W. T. Pooh (aka A. A. Milne)
You just can't help but love Pooh's wisdom. So often, when we have a hurdle, a problem or a concern just rattling around inside our head, it seems unsolvable and it grows each day. Saying it out loud tends to start the shrinking process immediately, and often brings about a great insight at the same time. And, for those times when we still don't see the path to take, others often will.
Action: If you are stuck, see a problem, obstacle or hurdle you must jump, or even if you are just feeling unsure of your plan, say it out loud. Find a good sounding board (a coach, consultant or mentor) who can listen and give honest, helpful feedback and tell them what’s inside your head. Then listen, tweak your plan if necessary, and take the next action step in your plan!
